Solly
Burton from Indiana
Wow,
show number 3! We're on a roll! This is getting a little easier
now and it's great to hear from all the people that enjoyed our
first two shows. We're so happy that over 600 people have stopped
in to hear what we have to offer.
If
you get a chance, will you please tell all your bluegrass friends
on the web about us? This is for you, the fan and the love of bluegrass
music. We need to hear the stories and insights into our music that
these bits of oral history bring alive! Please share this site with
others!
This
week we have a main interview with Don Rigsby, musician with the
bands Midnight Call and the America's Bluegrass Band as well as
the director of Morehead University's Kentucky Center for Traditional
Music.
We
also have a real treat, an interview and some music from Solly Burton,
a young man from Indiana that is really out there tearing it up
on the mandolin!
Join
us for this week in Bluegrass History as well as our Musician's
Corner segment where we are talking about cobalt banjo picks.
We
offer several ways to listen to the show.
This
is the best method to listen online and a pop up window will appear
to allow you to surf while still listening!
If
you have a pop-up blocker, you may need to turn it off or download
the MP3 version of the show.
Or
download a mp3 file to listen at your leisure or download into your
mp3 player. With a high speed connection, your download time will
be approximently 10 minutes. Be sure to do a "save file"
if you'd like to save the file to your desktop.
